Fencing For Beginners

Fencing is fun. The satisfaction that envelopes you when stabbing another human being is one that is weirdly thrilling and of course, unique to fencing. I mean, you could choose to stab people in other situations, though you’ll probably get arrested.

CCA Previews ’17: Raffles Badminton

Raffles Badminton (RIBT) has a history of being amongst the top four schools at a national level for many years. With a team comprising only 12 girls and boys each, you can expect an extremely close and bonded team with a strong support system both on and off the court. We train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5–8pm during season and on Tuesdays and Thursdays off season.

The name RI is usually synonymous with competition. Rafflesians are encouraged to fight for the school as a display of school pride. While this competitiveness is certainly laudable, many-a-time, Rafflesians tend to get distracted from a more virtuous reason to join a sport – for passion.
