CCA Previews ’17: Raffles Badminton

By Lim Boon Wen (17S05A), Captain

Unstoppable.

Raffles Badminton (RIBT) has a history of being amongst the top four schools at a national level for many years. With a team comprising only 12 girls and boys each, you can expect an extremely close and bonded team with a strong support system both on and off the court. We train on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5-8pm during season and on Tuesdays and Thursdays off season.

We have amazing coaches- Coach Ronald (Singles) and Coach Aman (Doubles) work their hardest to bring us to the top, which RIBT achieved this year by bringing home both the Girls and Boys A Division Championship Titles. Our dedicated teachers-in-charge, Ms Lim and Mr Wong provide us with immense support, such that we can give training our 100% without any worries.

Although our goal for 2017 is to retain both titles, the thing that matters most to our team is to give everyone in the team the rich, fun and unforgettable experience of being a part of RIBT. On top of that, we hope that each and every team member will feel at home with the team and enjoy all the tiring training sessions and tough matches we might face, together.

We hope you will consider joining this family, and we look forward to having you on board while helping you have an enjoyable time in JC!
