We are indeed the team behind our school’s very own social enterprise, bringing you the merchandise you know and love! But beyond that, we are a team of innovators, designers, and trailblazers united under the banner of the Raffles Entrepreneurs’ Network (REN).
The entrepreneurial spirit is at the heart of everything we do at REN. It is the mindset that inspires us to think creatively, take initiative, and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
We believe entrepreneurship is not limited to starting a business; it is a way of approaching life— with curiosity, adaptability, and resilience. In fostering this spirit, we also empower our members to recognise problems, develop solutions, and make a positive change in any field they choose to pursue.
Our motto, “Enterprising for Good”, encapsulates our dedication to equipping members with the tools and values to contribute meaningfully to both the school and the wider community. Here, we believe that every idea holds value and that every effort, no matter how small, contributes to driving social progress.

Under RBR’s 2025 theme, “Big Impact, Bigger Hearts”, we welcomed JC students from all across Singapore to explore the passions and sense of purpose that drive entrepreneurial journeys and the positive difference business leaders can make in society.
REN members had the opportunity to engage with distinguished guest entrepreneurs, gaining valuable insights into diverse industries, while also connecting with like-minded peers from other schools. This is the collaborative spirit REN champions: one where great ideas are born from synergy and teamwork.

In joining, you can expect to gain hands-on experience by participating in a wide range of business competitions that simulate real-world entrepreneurial challenges. These competitions go beyond theory, requiring teams to ideate, develop, and pitch innovative solutions.
From creating business plans to refining marketing strategies and presenting to panels of judges, you will sharpen practical skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and persuasion. This ‘learning by doing’ approach ensures that every project is not just an exercise in creativity, but also a chance for you to apply knowledge in dynamic environments so as to thrive in future ventures.
At REN, innovation is in our DNA. We don’t just talk about ideas; we fulfill them. We provide the ultimate entrepreneurial learning experience: to incubate ideas and see them come to life. As a REN member, you’ll have the chance to design and produce your own products as part of our annual cornerstone initiative, Innofair!
From ideation to sourcing, sales, and distribution, you’ll experience the entire entrepreneurial process firsthand. Just like our renowned merch sales, you’ll be directly involved in everything from product creation to school-based sales and external collaborations. We believe that entrepreneurship goes beyond profits; it’s about making a meaningful impact. That’s why a portion of our proceeds is always set aside to support charitable causes.

Our weekly Wednesday sessions, running from 8:30am to 10:30am, are a dynamic blend of learning, collaborating, and bonding. Every week, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow members and immerse yourself in an environment that fosters personal and professional growth.
Many of our sessions feature inspiring industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs who come down to share their valuable insights and personal experiences. We also organise industry visits and internships throughout the year, giving you invaluable real-world experience at companies aligned with your interests, guided by expert mentors.
However, it’s not just about learning from the best, but it’s also about connecting with like-minded individuals who share your passion for entrepreneurship. You’ll form lifelong friendships and build a network that will continue to inspire and support you for years to come.
