Does jazz open your eyes to dazzling solos, captivating harmonies, and a sweeping range of exciting blues scale? Yes. Is that all we’re about? No way.

That’s right, Water Polo offers you this unique opportunity to be able to train hard, get those gains and leave the pool fresh and smelling like dove shampoo or just any generic brand of soap or more often than not, chlorine. In all seriousness, you would have probably heard lots of swish swooshes from the gushing water, and the beep beeps coming from the coaches’ air whistles, if you were to pass by the RI pool. However in view of the COVID-19 situation, as of late the only waves we get to pull through are radio waves in the form of Microsoft Teams video calls.

Background:

The Raffles Indian Cultural Society (or ICS for short) is an amalgamation of culture and amusement as we give individuals a platform to connect to their roots with their fellow peers. It provides an avenue for individual Indians to assemble and bond with each other, and to develop our Indian culture in school. We hope to sustain shared experiences and to cultivate a feeling of belonging among individuals. We arrange for a variety of initiatives for our members to feel engaged with our cultural happenings and language.
