Squash is a high-paced, intense racket sport played by two players in a four-walled court. It involves physical and mental hardiness, including high agility and ability to read your opponent’s next move.

It comes as no wonder, then, that squash is named the healthiest sport by Forbes Magazine, burning an impressive 844 calories per hour on average. At Raffles Squash, we believe that this truly enjoyable sport brings people together.

CCA Previews ’17: Basketball

This year, the Girls’ Basketball Team under the leadership of our captain Choo Jieying and vice captain Sophia Ang, is aiming for the gold for the second year in a row in the A Division National Basketball Championship. With huge shoes to fill, the team trains hard 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Before our season starts, we have our annual weekend basketball tournament in January, followed by our training trip to Taiwan in March. With two major upcoming events, the team has been working hard since November and we hope to achieve great results during our season in April.

Noisy. Excited. Tenacious. Blessed. Accepting. Laughing. Loving.

This is who we are and what one can expect from the Raffles Netball family. To us, Netball is never just a CCA out of the many, but rather, it is our refuge, our comfort, and our passion. Netball has evolved to become more than just a game we train to win, but is the glue that binds us all together, bringing us closer through all the constant sweat, groans and aches, pushing one another to become better versions of ourselves.
