Imagine this: you’re standing at the top of Hong Kong’s tallest peak at 957 meters above sea level, soaking in the atmosphere with a 360-degree view of the city. The view you see in front of you is the result of almost a year’s worth of pushing yourself up hundreds of metres of elevation while carrying heavy loads on your back. It’s the result of covering kilometres of distance all while having an encouraging smile on your face.

CCA Previews ‘26: Raffles Runway

No – not exactly! Instead of planes, the only things strutting down our runway are models clad from head-to-toe in stunning looks created by our very own CCA members. 

Here at Raffles Runway, our 12 designers strive towards the highly anticipated Runway Showcase, where our own dazzling masterpieces are modelled by fellow Rafflesians every year, giving Anna Wintour a run for her Met Gala. This journey might sound daunting, but fret not – you need not have sewing experience in order to join us!

An Introduction to Advocacy 

“When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.”

These are the words of prominent Pakistani education activist Malala Yousafzai, and it encapsulates the essence of our Community Advocates motto: “Speak, Act, Change”.  

In a world teeming with complexities and contradictions, we often find ourselves ensnared in the web of our routines, barely noticing the injustices that simmer beneath the surface. Community Advocates (CA) seeks to be the voice that speaks up for the underprivileged, the hand that reaches out in action to them, the catalyst for change against the tide of indifference.

CCA Previews ’26: Raffles Interact

At Raffles, life can sometimes feel like a whirlwind of lessons, deadlines, and commitments. Yet, amidst the hustle, there are students who choose to dedicate their time and energy to something bigger than themselves—serving others. That’s why Raffles Interact, the oldest Interact Club in Singapore (established in 1963), was inaugurated. 

We are a community of like-minded individuals united by one belief: service is not about awards, accolades, or collecting VIA hours. It’s about showing up for others, giving our best, and living out our motto—“Service before Self.”
