CCA Previews ’22: Netball

Netball. What exactly is it? To some, it may just be a weird spinoff of basketball that seems boring or pointless. However, that could not be further from the truth! 

Netball is a ball sport involving 7 players per team. In this high-intensity sport, timing is of essence. The timing of one’s run or pass has to be precise, down to the milliseconds, to execute effective attacks under high-pressure situations. One could even say that the ball moves so fast, there is hardly any time to think. Hence, our instinctive movements on the competition court largely depend on the skill training done prior.

CCA Previews ’22: Alchemy Club

Our sessions happen once a week – every Monday from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, a perfect timing no matter how packed your schedules are. You will definitely look forward to these fun and engaging sessions, as members will always get to take something away from them! Not only will you be able to gain applicable knowledge, but also grow to love the positive energy from your fellow alchemists.

Alchemy Club is also the perfect place to learn more about and practice scientific communication, and members get many chances to try their hand at making presentations to teach difficult concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
