15 years and 8 years. That’s how long the RJTT boys and girls team, respectively, have been keeping their championship titles in the National School Games. But of course, this legacy cannot be continued without the commitment and hard work from our players.

To continually improve and strive towards that championship trophy, we train on Mondays and Fridays from 5pm-8pm, and on Wednesdays from 2.30pm-5.30pm. This not only allows us to brush up on our skills and techniques, but also gives time in between each training session to rest and repair. Table Tennis is a complex sport which requires a lot of thinking and familiarisation with the game. Hence, you can expect to see our skill training coupled with internal friendly competitions during almost every training session. Through gameplay, we can better understand our strengths and weaknesses and train ourselves to think of various strategies when faced with opponents of different playing styles.

Raffles Table Tennis family

Raffles Table Tennis is not just a CCA but a close-knit family. Across the six batches of Raffles Table Tennis (Y1-6), we all work together to strive towards our common goal: #6teams1dream1raffles. You may sometimes see Rafflesians from different divisions and genders training together in the Gymnasium, helping one another out throughout the seasons. Since we all share the same two coaches – Coach Wu and Coach Li, our alumni will often return to our training grounds to lend a helping hand in preparing us for the upcoming season. Some even take time off their busy schedules and make their way all the way down to Pasir Ris Sports Hall to coach us or support us for our final game of the season. Our parents also play crucial roles in cheering all our players on throughout the season and taking wonderful pictures of us in action. Raffles Table Tennis will not be complete without any of these people.

Unfortunately, due to the competitive nature and complexity of the sport, we only accept players who had prior experience with Table Tennis. However, if you are up for a challenge and would really love to join the Raffles Table Tennis family, you are more than welcome to come for our trials. We will definitely make your JC experience an enjoyable one!

PS. You may even hit us up just to have some fun at the Crib!
