CCA Previews ‘26: Netball

Contrary to popular belief, netball is far more than just a girl’s version of basketball. While it’s often dismissed for being a non-contact sport and for having a predominantly female community, there is much more to the game than meets the eye.  

Netball requires both physical agility and mental acuity, where each of the 7 players on court are indispensable to converting a centre pass into a goal. All players on court must stay focused as they carry out attacking movements or defensive plays, while taking care not to incur infringements and maintain possession of the ball. There is also heavy emphasis on accurate passing, positioning and timing—all three elements need to come into play for the players in their respective positions on court to execute seamless coordination, and ultimately score.

CCA Previews ’25: Water Polo

With the constant swimming up and down the pool, and the endless wrestling that we have to endure throughout the match, you need godlike endurance to last the entire game. Here at Raffles Football, we firmly believe in our motto, “Believe, Desire, Teamwork”, and we uphold this motto in everything we do, on and off the pitch. We may be a developmental CCA, but we always strive hard and put in our best efforts to achieve excellence.

When you train with us, be prepared to put in your utmost effort and push yourself beyond your limits, both mentally and physically. Every training session is an opportunity for you to improve, be it in terms of fitness, technical ability or tactical awareness. 

Just about anyone can join the football family here at Raffles. Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner who wants to learn more about the beautiful game, we welcome you with open arms.
