If you’ve watched movies and seen their coders, you might assume every coder is an energy-drink-chugging, midnight-oil-burning tech wizard who cracks complex algorithms with a few keystrokes and a couple lines of neon green. While reality may be far from that (our computer labs are well lit and smell great!), it is no less fascinating to learn about computer science and all the amazing things you can do with it. Join us at CSS where we blend the thrill of tech with a vibrant, supportive community, making learning to code both exciting and enjoyable!

CCA Previews ‘25: Students’ Council

You may be thinking, “I’m not as extroverted or as enthusiastic as the Councillors I’ve seen on stage during Orientation, am I still welcome as part of the Students’ Council?”

The short answer is Yes, but there’s more than meets the eye. There are no strict prerequisites for one to join the Students’ Council – as long as you have a heart to serve the student body, you are a suitable candidate! Ultimately, every Councillor finds personal meaning in his or her journey, and there is no one type of character or profile we look out for.
