Founded relatively recently in 2011, Yale-NUS is a liberal arts college which aims to provide a a comprehensive multidisciplinary exposure to its students. It offers a diverse range of courses from the humanities to natural sciences. Indeed, Yale-NUS is a choice to consider not just for those who prefer to study locally, but also for all who wish to immerse themselves in a vibrant environment filled with a thriving school population and dedicated faculty.

Passenger: A Journey with Raffles Photographic Society

Photography is not just a tool, but also an art. Like other artworks, good photographs inspire, enlighten, and move people, and require careful planning and production to induce such an effect. Through Passenger, Raffles Photographic Society (RPS)’s end-of-year exhibition, our resident photographers bypassed the mere displaying of photography skills, aiming to deliver insight and emotion through photo-taking instead.

Thor: Ragnarok – Adapting Ancient Mythology in the 21st Century

Director Taika Waititi married his eccentric energy with Marvel’s house style, enabling the “Marvel Formula” – filmmaking and storytelling style that puts emphasis on lightheartedness and spectacle –  to still stand despite the fact that this movie is the 17th installation in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Batch Night 2017: A Night to Remember

Walking into the Albert Hong Hall on the evening of 9th November, one would have felt not only the comfort of a shelter from the rain outside, but also the warm, welcoming atmosphere within. Batch Night, an event organised by Students’ Council, promised an evening of relaxation and celebration of a school year successfully conquered, and certainly delivered.
