Background:

The Raffles Indian Cultural Society (or ICS for short) is an amalgamation of culture and amusement as we give individuals a platform to connect to their roots with their fellow peers. It provides an avenue for individual Indians to assemble and bond with each other, and to develop our Indian culture in school. We hope to sustain shared experiences and to cultivate a feeling of belonging among individuals. We arrange for a variety of initiatives for our members to feel engaged with our cultural happenings and language.

Automatica? We know what you’re thinking: what CCA is that? Trust us, we were once in your shoes too. After all, it is undeniable that our CCA name does not give any details about the nature of our CCA. It’s not even an actual word. So what does it mean? To be honest, we have no idea either.

What we can tell you though is that we are a robotics club. Our interesting CCA name aside, we are a dedicated, innovative and chill CCA, committed to making our mark on the history of robotics (or so we hope).

This is where you will be training with your peers for future tournaments, where you will sharpen your skills and your thinking, where you will find yourself a part of a family.

Have you ever wished you could play your favorite pop or classical tunes on a guitar like those guitarists on stage? Then you have made the right choice clicking on this page! The Raffles Institution Guitar Ensemble (RJGE) is a fully fledged Niibori Guitar Ensemble, and we explore many genres of music. Be it emotional classics or rock songs, you name it, we do it. There is so much more to guitar that you can discover, because other than simple finger-plucking exercises, we have a bigger goal of tugging at your heartstrings!
