RI Red Cross Youth Chapter seeks to serve the community, whilst developing our members to become better leaders and citizens. As RCYC members, all of us become part of a legion of over 9,000 volunteers under the Singapore Red Cross’ nationwide humanitarian effort.

CCA Previews ’17: Bridge Club

For those unfamiliar with bridge, it may seem to belong to a large group of card games that are purely luck-based, require no skill and are played late at night during sleepovers or at school camps. Well, this couldn’t be further from the truth. While this may be true of the version of bridge played casually, which is also known as floating bridge, contract bridge is a unique blend of communication, strategy and sometimes calculated risk-taking that is offered by no other mind sport. This is what we, RI Bridge Club, are all about.

CCA Previews ’17: Audio Visual Unit

Be it elaborate light sequences or band set-ups, the AVU is the know-it-all for visual and audio aesthetic. Providing support for almost every school event, we carry out our roles quietly in the inconspicuous control room, away from the audience’s eyes.

CCA Previews ’17: Art Club

For art enthusiasts, Visual Art Club is really a space for self-expression, where we can let our imagination unfold boundlessly. During Art Club sessions, we expose members to various mediums and genres, for example, ceramics, digital art, watercolour (landscape), and graphic story (ink and digital). Through this wide range of exposure, we hope to instil in Art Club members a deeper appreciation for the fine arts and to cultivate them into exceptional artists.
