WEP Previews ’22: Biology Olympiad

Do you want to wow your friends with complex biological terms that probably no one would be able to spell? Are you interested in studying the complex anatomy of animals of different species in detail? Do you want to pull out a prawn’s appendages and its digestive tract? Then, Biology Olympiad is very much for you!

We have our very own Biology Olympiad training programme. Training sessions take place on Wednesdays, with each session focusing on either theory or practical skills. There will be a series of lectures covering a wide array of topics from animal anatomy and physiology to biosystematics, conducted by our own Singapore Biology Olympiad (SBO) alumnus.

WEP Previews ’22: International Service-Learning and Leadership Elective (ISLE)

ISLE is a learning journey that involves critical reflection of local and regional issues, with students looking at topics such as community engagement, cultural diversity and active citizenry.

CCA Previews ’19: Shooting

It can be hard to believe that shooting is categorised as a sport; after all, unlike the typical sportsperson, most shooters don’t have to lug their equipment around LTs, hit the gym, or adopt special diets. Since training takes place in air-conditioned ranges and PT is (practically) non-existent, some have even labelled the sport as a “mock jock CCA”. The question remains – should shooting be considered a sport?
