Dear Dispirited Danielle,

It seems as if times have been tough for you lately. The loss of your family, a treasured relationship, and another blow in terms of academics: these are distressing circumstances on their own, and the combined effect of all those events would be a blow to the gut for anyone. Yet, your question illustrates a tenacious spirit that will be important in toughing out these dismal periods. We think that it is admirable that you are looking for ways to remain positive even when your life is, for lack of a better phrase, falling apart at the seams.

Bouncing Back: Squash ‘A’ Division Championship 2017

The Kallang Squash and Tennis Centre was bubbling with excitement on the 3rd and 4th of May – after all, the players from Raffles Squash were battling it out in the ‘A’ Division championship finals. The sweltering heat failed to distract the players, and did nothing to deter supporters from showing up. After rounds of fast-paced, grueling matches and supporters cheering themselves hoarse, it was evident that the efforts had paid off.

Those Days: A Preview

Those Days – what better name for a concert dedicated to the elderly in our lives? Implicit in those two words is a bittersweet sense of returning to simpler times and moments, and when it comes to reminiscence, no one else holds a greater wealth of memories than our elderly relatives. The opportunity to retrace those steps with our relatives is something to be treasured.

Sugar, Yes Please: Raffles RockIn: Space Jam 2017

Testament to this was the excited buzzing of the crowd, packed into the TSD on 13th April.
