“Last charge!”

The team’s adrenaline fuels their powerful, synchronised strokes as their heartbeats follow the unwavering pulse of the drum. The boat surges forward through the final 50-meter stretch. As every paddler shouts with all their might, the cheers and cries of your teammates push you to paddle even harder.

Threatened by fatigue, you fight on, willing your muscles not to give out on your team and yourself. And before you know it… 

“Easy!” 

You have crossed the finish line. An overwhelming sense of pride and joy washes over you as you beam at your teammates.

CCA Previews ‘25: Track & Field

With the conclusion of the recent Olympics, many of us who watched it would have been in awe of the runners flying across the track in a blur, the jumpers soaring impossibly far across the sand and arcing gracefully in the air, or maybe even would have looked at the pole vaulters launching themselves fearlessly into the air and thought: how do they even do that?

CCA Previews ‘25: Table Tennis

Imagine this: the score is 2-2, 10-9. What’s next is the deciding point that could grant overall victory. The crucial point that could help regain RI’s lost crown. Crowds cheering, sweat dripping, heart racing, you draw one final deep breath. 

All sound fades out as you toss the ball high into the air…as the ball rockets back and forth in a blur, the crowd holds its breath, witnessing the astonishing poetry in motion…and POW! With one decisive smash, you seal the victory for Raffles! The crowd erupts, the supporters chant your name, and your teammates charge past the barriers to embrace you, the man-of-the-match. And with that, you cement your legacy in RI as the winner of the 2025 championship.
