CCA Previews ’17: Basketball

This year, the Girls’ Basketball Team under the leadership of our captain Choo Jieying and vice captain Sophia Ang, is aiming for the gold for the second year in a row in the A Division National Basketball Championship. With huge shoes to fill, the team trains hard 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Before our season starts, we have our annual weekend basketball tournament in January, followed by our training trip to Taiwan in March. With two major upcoming events, the team has been working hard since November and we hope to achieve great results during our season in April.

The Boys’ Basketball Team is also no less interesting and fun as we treat the Basketball CCA as our family and that no one gets left behind. We also believe that hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard, so do join us if you believe that you have the right attitude, mindset and burning passion for the game. The Boy’s Basketball Team has been consistently achieving stellar results every season and we hope to accomplish our 3-peat this year.
